Get keen for Peachy coffee 🍑
Axil Coffee just dropped their latest filter.
This coffee had tasting notes of Tinned Peach, Coconut, Lemon and Sweet Pastry, this is a standout tropical fruity coffee ☕️

We tested this coffee out on the new June dripper from Shelbru (more to come on this soon)

ORIGAMI DRIPPER RECIPE ☕️ (Cone & Wave Filter)
The Origami Dripper is one of our all-time favourites and for good reason, the versatility is unmatched. You can run it with conical filters OR flat-bottom style filters and each gives you a genuinely different cup. Here’s both recipes so you can try them side by side.

Both recipes use 15g coffee to 250g water, poured in 50g pulses (wait for full drawdown between each pour).

🔺 CONE
-Grind slightly finer (~20 clicks on Comandante C40)
-Rinse filter to preheat dripper
-Add coffee, WDT to level
-Pour 50g at 90°C, repeat in 50g increments to 250g total

🌊 WAVE
-Grind coarser (~28 clicks on Comandante C40)
-Rinse filter to preheat dripper
-Add coffee, WDT to level
-Pour 50g at 95°C, repeat in 50g increments to 250g total

Why the difference? The Wave filter sits flush in the ridges of the Origami, reducing bypass, so you can grind coarser and brew a touch hotter. The Cone filter gives more contact with the ridges for a different flow rate, hence the finer grind and slightly cooler water.
