Alternatively, Option 2 is by taking the bus and alighting at Monash University Bus Loop and walking around 5-10 minutes to reach Browns Road.
If you are driving, take the M1 freeway towards Melbourne and exit onto Blackburn Road. Then, turn left on Wellington Road and make a right turn onto Blackburn Road. Turn left onto Browns Road where there is street parking available.
