On Tuesday, we welcomed a new large group of clients to our second Accent Home Care High Tea at Changing Seasons Cafe - and it was every bit as joyful as the first!
Our VIP guests enjoyed a relaxed afternoon filled with laughter, conversation and delicious chef‑prepared treats. From delicate savouries and fresh scones with cream to barista‑made coffee and tea, every detail was thoughtfully prepared to make everyone feel truly special.
It was wonderful to see guests connecting with their Care Partners, chatting with the Accent team, and discovering more about how our Support at Home services help maintain independence, comfort and confidence at home.
Each guest left with a beautiful Accent Home Care gift bag, and many were delighted by our lucky door prizes - from sweet chocolate indulgences to green‑thumb gardening goodies.
Thank you to everyone who joined us across both days. Your warmth, smiles and appreciation made these events truly memorable. 💛

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for our special Accent High Tea event at Changing Seasons Cafe on Monday.
It was wonderful to see almost 50 clients relaxing over a delicious chef‑prepared High Tea, meeting the Accent team face to face, and exploring their care options in such a supportive and friendly setting.
Our VIP guests enjoyed beautifully prepared treats, delicate savouries and of course the obligatory fresh scones with cream, all paired with barista‑made coffee. Everyone that came was also presented with a take-home Accent gift bag, and many were also treated to a lucky door prize - from Lindt chocolates to a green‑thumb gardening pack and more.
The afternoon was a truly warm celebration of community and connection. We’ll be also sharing highlights from our second Accent High Tea event tomorrow - so stay tuned.

We’re taking a royal pause day!👑 🎉
Changing Seasons Cafe will be closed on Monday 8th June 2026 for the King’s Birthday.

Yesterday afternoon’s free Carers Lunch at Changing Seasons Cafe was a wonderful chance for carers in our community to pause, enjoy a delicious meal and spend time connecting with others who truly understand the caring journey.

Option 1: Public Transport
Take any tram or train to Flinders Street Station. From there, transfer to the 48 tram towards North Balwyn and get off at the Elizabeth Street/Nicholson Street stop. Walk for about 2 minutes towards the north and you will find the cafe on your left.
Option 2: Driving/Parking
Drive along Elizabeth Street until you reach Nicholson Street. Turn left onto Nicholson Street and immediately turn left again onto Victoria Parade. Take another left onto Leicester Street and then turn left onto Pelham Street where you will find a nearby car park in case street parking is not available. The cafe should be on your right as you exit the car park.
