The Carre Street in Elsternwick has two popular seafood restaurants, a fish and chips restaurant and a fish & chips shop with ample options for public transport and driving/parking. If you are coming by public transport, the closest train station is Elsternwick Station on the Sandringham Line which is approximately 400 meters from the location. There are also several buses running along Glen Huntly Road that will take you close to the vicinity.
If you prefer to drive, there is limited street parking available on Carre Street or nearby side streets. Alternatively, there is a paid parking lot located at the Coles Shopping Centre on Glen Huntly Road which is within walking distance of the restaurants.
Both seafood restaurants are situated opposite each other on Carre Street with one being closer to Brighton Road while the other is closer to Glen Huntly Road. The fish and chips restaurant and fish & chips shop are also located nearby around the same area.
