COMMUNITY, THIS FAMILY NEEDS A LITTLE HELP RIGHT NOW.

On Friday 2 October, a special trivia night is being held at Bumblebeez Werribee to support a local family following an absolutely heartbreaking loss.

Tony was just 36 years old. He and his wife had only celebrated their first wedding anniversary on 6 September, and together they have 9 kids.

Tony was diagnosed with Stage 4 bowel cancer, which had spread to his pancreas and liver.

Tragically, Tony passed away on Monday evening.

From diagnosis to his passing was just 24 days.

Twenty-four days.

It’s incredibly difficult to comprehend just how quickly this family’s entire world has changed.

The fundraiser was originally organised to help ease the financial pressure while Tony underwent treatment and to give the family precious time together.

Sadly, things changed far quicker than anyone could have imagined.

The focus of the night is now about wrapping our arms around Tony’s wife and their family and helping ease some of the financial pressure they face in the days, weeks and months ahead.

The family has chosen to keep names and faces away from social media as much as possible to protect some vulnerable members of their family, and we absolutely respect that.

The trivia night will include trivia, raffles, silent auctions, door prizes and plenty of trivia prizes.
