A little winter update from us. 🍂

From this week, until the end of winter, we’ll be closing a little earlier than usual. Our opening hours will be Tuesday-Friday 7am-3pm and Saturday 7am-4pm.
We’re taking the quieter winter afternoons as a sign to wind down and recharge, and we think that’s okay. Our team deserve to see some daylight too 😌

To make the most of your mornings with us, we’re offering $3 small coffees with any meal ordered off the menu, everyday we’re open between 7am and 9am only. (Excludes cabinet items, menu items only)
Dine-in or takeaway (remember to BYO cup) ☕️

Thank you to everyone who has made Tyler’s apart of their routine. You’re the reason we love what we do. We’re a small cafe with a the best community behind us and we never forget that. Thank you for your understanding and your continued support.

Lets all take a moment here to celebrate HENRYYYYY who has recently clocked two years at Tyler's 💕.

Henry really, truly levelled up our coffee game when he joined us. He's a master of all things espresso...he runs the machine with so much calm and effortless grace, with milk so silky you want to wear it around your neck and a sharp eye for the perfectly extracted shot. It takes a s**t tonne of knowledge and experience to execute both with the speed that he does.

A true Preston local (how gooood is a 60 second walk to work), DUX of his primary school (thanks Henry's Mumma for the trivia facts 😂) and soon to be graduating teacher, we really are so grateful for what Henry has added to the Tyler's offering and to be able to harness his skills and enjoy his company whilst he completes his studies.

He's a rare one. And a great one. We are so lucky!

If you're ever having a rough one after a late and booze-fuelled night, ask Henry for a red eye, it'll get you through.

It is safe to say, that we can finally say...TIS' THE SEASON to sip on our stovetop hot chocolates.

Prepared with love atop the stove, we gently infuse milk (sometimes plant-based, sometimes dairy-full) with rotating flavours and infusions before bringing to the boil then vigorously whisking in loads of dark chocolate. Then we simmer until reduced a little and perfectly thickened.

Served piping hot topped with a little extra treat...all you have to do is ask 🤷‍♀️ 'what's today's stovetop?'.

Pssst. This week it is Peppermint Slice (vegan) and for next week....there is some smores-inspired whispers in the air 🤫

It's been a full-blown spud CITY at Tyler's this week... you've all been getting verrrry hot for our loaded baked spud which has earned itself a spot as a Tyler's staple.

We load our spuds with a garlic butter made from PEPE SAYA BUTTER Co butter, roasted corn, bacon and cheese, finished with sour cream, house jalepeños, chives and spring onion served alongside a tangy slaw.
Vego? No worries - you get to choose between halloumi or our tofu bacon and for vegans, you get tofu bacon, Damona Dairy Free cheddar and house sour cream.

Add an egg. Add relish. Add grilled halloumi. You can (almost) have whatever you like.

We LOVE sending colourful boxes full of our favourite things out to your special events 💕 We're excited to see this side of our business grow this year and are so grateful for our regular catering customers who've been with us since we launched.

Everything from our pickles, relishes and quiches to our mayos and classic baked goods are made in house - something we won't ever change despite the economic challenges that this year is throwing at all of us. Paired with top-notch produce such as dairy, bread, cheeses and cured meats from our favourite suppliers, we're confident that you can taste the love in every bite.

We're here for you as we layer up and sink into the temporary chill. We've whipped up a spiced apple cider (non-alc) to warm your cockles this weekend... and our CHEESE LOUISE toastie returns with filled with a ripper three cheese medley and our zucchini pickles.
There will be ample hot cross buns and tonnes of cosy fun.

Filled with tuna sambal, makrut lime, lemongrass, crispy shallots, mayo and cheeeese.

Whilst we absolutely LOVE our bread and LOVE our butter, we also LOVE catering to your dietary needs.

Pictured here is our classic Sally Sanga with a vegan-gluten-free-friendly twist...ain't she pretty!

Since day one we have made sure that our menu options are as dietary flexible as (reasonably) possible. It starts with consideration, and then comes finding some kick-ass ingredients that we are thrilled to serve as alternative options. 'Fine' doesn't cut it - it has to be great.

Our GF bread from hits the mark. We now buy it in whole, so that we can slice it extra thick! Some people even question if we have actually given them the right bread 🥴🤗. (We are not a coeliac safe venue, our kitchen is tiny).

In between the slices is the glorious extra tasty cheese - sliced fresh in house. We love the way it melts on our hot buns and toasties.

Our team are here to guide you always...and make sure your meal stacks up against the rest!

We LOVE it when you BYO container or cups for your meals / cakes / sips. It's a better way of of buying and comes with bonus feel-good feelings and a cheeky little discount.

Ps. Recognise Raf? He was Tyler's first ever employee, now all grown up (🤗🤗) and travelling overseas and still popping in for a chat and snack!

Happiest of birthdays to Sam 🕺✨❤️

Tyler’s wouldn’t be where it is today without her. She’s the soul of our little (kinda big?) cafe. You’ll usually find her running around taking orders, whizzing up drink specials, dancing with the kids, baking in the kitchen at 5am every morning, writing the specials boards, behind the coffee machine, in the garden, making yummy things for you to eat, doing dishes and helping everyone and anyone all while asking, “Has anyone seen my phone?”

She’s truely a wizard! One half of Tyler’s that really wouldn’t be what it is without her.

Here’s to another year of Sam and the fun, heart and chaos she brings ❤️

A new week means another five days in row to wrap your hands around our sausage muffin.

Spiced pattie, steamed 'space egg' & high-melt cheese wedged between a toasted sourdough English muffin.

Fun fact: Back Alley developed these muffins just for us a few years ago! The perks of working alongside small, local businesses - you can work alongside one another and make magic happen! Their muffins are available fresh in their bakery daily to take home (do try the jalepeño & cheddar 🤤)
