Dear Melbourne,
It's been a minute. Did you miss me? Cuz I sure as hell miss hearing all those fuchkagasms!
is finally back throwing down pop-ups!Β
This is the first of many in a series of secret pop-ups and private dining events that I'll be hosting in Melbourne this year.
Spots are limited, and big groups encouraged for a grand adda session.
Are you really gonna pass up the best Fuchka south of the equator?
I'm not a restaurant, I'm an experience π

One thing I always wanted to do through Crazy Lover was cook kebab, brain and kolija. With our hiatus date fast approaching, this weekend is now or never for me to cook up a farewell storm of dishes that you haven't experienced. Bookings only, and if you want mogoj and kolija you definitely need to tell me, as there's a lot of preparation there. See you soon xx

Going all out this weekend because it might just be my LAST EVER WEEKEND service before we close doors our doors forever
My Lovers *might* just see me next weekend if you're lucky because bureaucracy sure does take its sweet time! π
Nothing brings me more joy than feeding people and I know how each one of these menus holds a special place in everyone's life.
I always tell people that I don't sell food, but nostalgia. These flavours that we grew up with has the power to take us back to memories we often times forgot we had.
Us Bengalis, as we sit down to eat, find ourselves contemplating what our our next meal is going to be.
Food is central to our identity and with great food comes even greater hospitality.
And on that note, see you Lovers this weekend.

Something sweet to wash down the kacchi -- Faluda special this weekend. Already got the utmost compliment that it tastes like Bar B Q Tonite (yup that's how it's spelt) in Dhaka, one of my favourite restaurants in the world.

BOOK NOW FOR THIS WEEKEND OR MISS OUT FOREVER π’π’π’
You've heard the rumours, they're all true. We're not around for much longer if we can help it. Make your kacchi and fuchka dreams come true in an ethereally beautiful setting and enjoy our incomparable vibe.
Please book in advance, as kacchi can only be prepped and cooked ahead of time. And if you've booked, please honour your booking. We turn people away all the time because we only have a certain number of pots of kacchi cooked, but if the people booking don't end up ordering what they confirmed they would, it leads to food wastage. Lots of love xx

We may call Melbourne a melting pot of cultures these days, but some of the OG melting pots were scattered across the silk route and the entry sea ports of Asia. Bengal, being the closest entry port to the far east, got to see some amazing culinary magic happen over the centuries, and Bangla/Deshi Chinese is one of them. Get it while you can.
Bookings only
is bringing on the nostalgia this week!
