We were honoured to host the Hobsons Bay Ladies Beafstake and Burgundy club. They were the most fun. We were also highly impressed with their knowledge.

Their mains were as follows:

- Marigold Salad, this chef’s special will be offered in the prawn version over a spinach and onion based salad with a fantastic tamarind and lemongrass sauce.

- Crisps Chicken Salad (Yum G*i Krop), crispy chicken with a tamarind sauce and onion, lime, coriander dressing, along with a little chilli.

- Pad Cha, a basil stir fry with baby pepper corn and a touch of chilli offering one of our more flavourful options. The Pad Cha prepared as a barramundi fillet option which is not normally offered on our standard menu.

- Massamun Beef Curry, a southern Thai coconut cream, peanut and potato curry. This is one of our milder curries and so we are serving it with beef to provide a nicely balanced strength of flavour to match the more bold reds.

Something light and refreshing now that Christmas dinners have finished. Prawn salad and crispy chicken salad with a delicate tamarind sauce. Also, a tantalising papaya salad for that traditional northeast Thai flavour.
