“On the pristine corner windows of this brand spanking new establishment you'll see the words: "Cocktails and Tapas. Mr Chambers South Yarra" and it was quite simply, the perfect sign, over this past warm and sunny weekend.
Within seconds, we were seated at the bar, sipping on a Negroni and Martini duo. So relaxed was the vibe, we later mosied on over to a table and indulged in a delectable charcuterie board paired with imported wines and whiled away a long Saturday afternoon.
Opening its doors for the first time last week, , steeped in blue hues, with plush velvet seating, ornate mirrors and chic lighting, beautifully suspended over a white marble top bar, is the perfect little corner spot for a casual and quaint catch up over a drink and small bite.
If you're looking for that spontaneous late afternoon/early evening corner bar experience, then this place is spot on. With a succinct menu, offering traditional cocktails, a bevy of classic wines and spirits and a short and tidy list of tantalising tapas, Mr C fits the bill perfectly!
