Happy Birthday to the One and Only Miss Dough’s Mum! 🎉💛

My mum has never held back—whether it’s love, advice, or showing up with a suitcase not packed with clothes, but overflowing with goods (because let’s be real, she never travels light, only right).

She didn’t just raise me; she proofed me, shaped me, and made sure I had enough strength to rise—both in life and in the kitchen. And even on her holidays, she somehow ends up working, supporting, and making sure everything runs smoothly (while pretending she’s “just helping a little”).

So today, I celebrate the woman who brings warmth, wisdom, and enough supplies to stock an entire pantry every time she visits. Happy Birthday, Mum! May your day be as full of love as your suitcase always is—because we both know it’s never empty!

To get to the location on Sunshine Road in Melbourne, if using public transport, take the train to Footscray station and then transfer to either bus number 408 or 410. Get off at the Sunshine Road stop and walk a few blocks east until you see the venue on your left.

If driving, take the West Gate Freeway and exit at Williamstown Road. Turn right onto Francis Street and then take a left onto Somerville Road. Continue straight ahead until you reach Sunshine Road.

Parking options include street parking along Sunshine Road or in nearby streets, as well as a car park located on the corner of Somerville and Hobsons roads.
