This one was extra special to make 🖤🤍
For my son’s 9th birthday, he had a very specific request for his cake — a Collingwood cake featuring some of his favourite players. And when the birthday boy is your own son, you know the pressure is on! 😂🎂
Inside was exactly what he wanted too: rich chocolate cake, chocolate ganache filling and chocolate buttercream — definitely a cake for a serious chocolate lover. 🍫
I absolutely love bringing kids’ ideas to life, especially when their cake is designed around something they genuinely love. And this time, getting to make it for my own boy made it even more special. ❤️

Made for someone extra special… my niece’s 15th birthday. 💕🎂
She wanted something rich, elegant and chocolatey, so this Raspberry Chocolate Mousse Cake was the perfect choice.
A layer of chocolate cake, fresh raspberry coulis, rich chocolate mousse, and a smooth glossy chocolate glaze to finish it off. 🍫✨
The raspberry cuts beautifully through the richness of the chocolate — definitely one for the chocolate lovers!
And of course, for a 15th birthday, it needed a little extra glamour. 👑✨

Well… this is what happens when Michael Jackson gets stuck in your head while you're decorating a cake. 😂🤦♀️
This cake was for JAXON.
Not Jackson.
JAXON. 😭😂
I filmed the entire decorating process, kept looking at the cake, finished all the details… and somehow my brain just accepted that his name was Jackson. Apparently the Michael Jackson theme had completely taken over! 😂
Thankfully I noticed and fixed it before the cake went to Jaxon. ❤️

When the birthday boy knows exactly what he wants on his cake… 🎂🕺🚗
A Michael Jackson-inspired cake was the main request, but there was one more very important detail — he wanted a car too! 😄 So of course, we had to make room for both!
Red, black, gold, iconic dance-inspired details and his little red car all came together to create a cake made especially for Jaxon’s 9th birthday. ❤️✨
I really love creating cakes like this, where we can mix different things a child loves and turn them into one completely personalised design.

When her favourite place is the golf course… her cake had to match! ⛳️💗🎂
This custom cake was created for a lovely lady who loves golf, with the design inspired by her actual golf cart and golf bag. From the little pink cart to the golf bag and the grassy course, I loved turning something so personal to her into cake. 🏌️♀️✨
And there was something special on the inside too — Chocolate & Orange Gluten-Free Cake 🍫🍊
This is currently the only gluten-free cake flavour available on my menu, so it’s a great option when you’re looking for a gluten-free celebration cake without missing out on flavour.

Trust the process… even when the process looks a little questionable 😂👢🎂
One thing I’ve learned from teaching myself how to make 3D cakes is that the beginning rarely looks anything like the final result.
Sometimes the shape looks wrong.
Sometimes I’m halfway through and thinking, “How is THIS supposed to become what I have in my head?” 😂
And sometimes… I honestly just have to keep going and trust that I’ll figure it out along the way.
Being self-taught means a lot of experimenting, fixing, changing things, learning from mistakes and occasionally wondering what on earth I’ve started. 😅
But that’s also one of my favourite parts of creating 3D cakes.
Swipe through ➡️ and you’ll see this cowboy boot go from “ummm… trust me, it’s going to be a boot” 🤣 to the finished cake. 👢🌼
You don’t always need to see the final result from the beginning.
Sometimes you just need to trust the process and keep creating. ❤️
