ONE STAR FOR US… FOR A DRIVER WE DON’T CONTROL.
We feel it’s important to share the other side of this story.
A customer has left us a 1-star review because their food arrived cold after the delivery driver took over an hour to travel just 3 minutes.
We completely understand how frustrating it is to receive cold food. But the delivery time is not something our restaurant controls.
Once the order is prepared, packed fresh and handed to the delivery driver, it is in the hands of the delivery service.
And yet, the restaurant gets the 1-star review.
We pay approximately 33% commission to the delivery platform for this service. On top of that, we regularly offer additional discounts to our customers, including right now, because we understand that times are difficult and we want to help our local community enjoy a good meal without paying full price.
We do our part.
🍔 We prepare the food fresh.
📦 We carefully pack every order.
⏱️ We have the order ready for the driver.
💰 We pay a substantial commission for the delivery service.
❤️ And we continue offering discounts to support our customers.
What happens after the driver picks up the order is unfortunately outside our control.
We are a small local business working hard every day to survive, provide quality food and look after our customers.
So we kindly ask:
PLEASE DON’T PUNISH THE RESTAURANT FOR SOMETHING THE RESTAURANT DIDN’T DO.
If your delivery is delayed or your food arrives cold because of the delivery driver, please contact the delivery platform and report the delivery issue directly to them.
We will always take responsibility for mistakes that are ours.
But it’s only fair that we are not blamed for problems that happen after the food leaves our hands.

To get to High Street Preston in Melbourne, you can take the tram 86 towards Bundoora RMIT and get off at Stop 47. Alternatively, you can take the train to Preston Station and walk for about 10 minutes to reach High Street.
If you are driving, there is street parking available on High Street and nearby streets. However, please be aware of any parking restrictions and time limits.
For the fast food restaurant, continue walking north on High Street until you reach the corner of High Street and Bell Street. The fast food restaurant will be on your left-hand side.
For the burger restaurant, continue walking north on High Street until you reach the corner of High Street and Murray Road. Turn right onto Murray Road and walk for a few minutes until you reach the burger restaurant on your left-hand side.
For the halal restaurant, continue walking north on High Street until you reach the corner of High Street and Cramer Street. Turn right onto Cramer Street and walk for about five minutes until you see the halal restaurant on your left-hand side.
