Café Z Community Announcement

On Sunday 12th November the Research Blues Club will be playing outside of Café Z at 11am-1pm

So why not come down and support the Research Blues Club. This is a community event (and not a private function). Food and drinks can be purchased from Café Z.

We welcome all our customers at Café Z, tables will be available for those dining in and purchasing our delicious range of food and drinks (including our breakfast menu) or grab a take away and enjoy the live music!

Café Z will be trading as per its usual Sunday trade (6:15am-1pm)

✨️ Big weekend in Research ✨️

Our first lieutenant and secretary dropped into Cafe Z Research yesterday morning to present them with a certificate of thanks. As we all know, the owners and staff there are wonderful, and they have helped support our brigade in a number of areas including our recent recruitment drive and open day/information session. So a big thankyou to the team there for this (and their fantastic coffee and treats!)

We also had 3 of our members complete their breathing apparatus training course on Sunday! This course allows firefighters to breathe easy in air that is not safe for inhalation, a situation we frequently find at our fire calls. We are so excited and proud of our members for completing this next step in their firefighting journeys, congratulations!

And finally of course a big happy fathers day to all our dads, grandfathers and father figures in our brigade and Research. We value and appreciate all your work and support 💐🩵
