A huge thank you to everyone who came down to see us and show your support — it means the world to us! 🙏

As we navigate this new journey as a food truck, we're loving seeing more familiar faces and new supporters stopping by each week. Keep it coming! 🥢

Since Akoonah Market only runs for 5.5 hours, that gives us a short window to cook, chat, and serve you all. Our noodles are cooked on the spot, so they do take a little time!

To make the most of your visit, we recommend placing a pre-order Thursday–Saturday. Simply text your order via WhatsApp to 0431 533 908, including your name and preferred pick-up time. On-the-day orders are still very welcome, but pre-ordering helps us serve you faster and at our best. 🍜

📌 Our menu is pinned on both our Facebook and Instagram pages — check it out!

👀 Keep an eye out for any specials that may be available this coming Sunday!

We would like to thank everyone who came down today and support us, and for being so patient with us on our first run as a food truck.

The amount of people who came down to show their support and have a taste of home again was overwhelmingly amazing. We honestly can’t thank you enough!

We’ll be back again next Sunday, so if you missed out today or wanted to try something else, we’ll see you then!

We’re back!!

If you’ve been with us from the very beginning, you’ll know that Chez Romi’s journey has been a little bit of a story.

We started our journey as Chez Romi Restocafe, and over time, our dream has evolved into something new — Chez Romi, the food truck.

For a while, we stepped back from the public eye and focused on growing quietly from home. We continued catering, serving our wonderful customers, refining what we do and, most importantly, keeping the heart of Chez Romi alive. ❤️

We’ve taken our time. We’ve worked behind the scenes. We’ve grown, we’ve learned, and we’ve kept going.

And now… we’re ready to come back.

It honestly feels surreal to finally say this…

Chez Romi is officially returning to the public! 🥹🎉

From Father’s Day, you’ll find us out and about as a food truck, serving our Mauritian flavours at Akoonah Park and bringing the food we love back to the community.

This isn’t just a relaunch for us.

It’s a new chapter.
A fresh start.
A new way of sharing Chez Romi with you.

From Cafe to food truck, the name may have evolved, but the passion, the flavours and the love behind what we do remain the same. 🇲🇺❤️

To every single person who supported us along the way — whether you visited the cafe, ordered from us while we operated from home, shared our posts, recommended us, or simply continued to believe in us…

Thank you.

You’ve been a part of this journey, and we wouldn’t be here without you. ❤️

So, from our kitchen to the streets…

🚚 CHEZ ROMI IS BACK! 🇲🇺❤️
