Our original Flan held its place on the menu for many years because, honestly, it was already great.
And then we decided to do the unthinkable: reimagine it.
The result is a vision of dulce de leche crème caramel, with coconut & almond croccante, crowned with lemon & mascarpone chantilly. A modern masterpiece, if we do say so ourselves.

The Palermo process is an elemental one.
Hot charcoals smoulder below, sending flames up to lick at the searing meat. The result is an exceptionally juicy steak with a perfect crust, and a hint of smoke in every bite.

Creating a great cocktail is guided as much by instinct as technique. A great bartender relies on experience, curiosity, and countless flavour combinations until they discover the perfect balance.

For something like Tartare, there are hundreds of years of tradition and expectation layered into the dish. Our version, pairing the fresh and savoury flavours of steak with pickled cabbage and horseradish cream, is a creamy and complex experience that elevates our Tartare into new territory.

What people say
Argentinian restaurants are known for their delicious grilled cuisine and fine wine, which are meant to be shared with loved ones. Palermo Restaurant Melbourne perfectly embodies this tradition with its contemporary twist on age-old Argentinean cuisine. As the younger sister of San Telmo, one of the CBD's most revered restaurants, Palermo has borrowed from its boisterous old-world charm and fused it with a nonchalant new-world chic.
Designed by architects Ewert Leaf, Palermo's interior is a nod to the vibrant and eclectic barrio of the same name in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The restaurant features a mezzanine level, rich bespoke carpeting, raw timber and steel accents, a cow hide feature wall, retro black and white tiles, antique syphon bottle lighting fixtures, a marble bar, and a beautiful Tuscan mural centerpiece.
However, the real showstopper at Palermo is undoubtedly its rustic red brick Asado fire pit. This traditional tailor-made Argentinean Parrilla grill invites both spectacle and intimacy through its bed of searing flames and charcoal. Splaying whole raised beasts over the smoldering circular redbrick fire pit exudes a bush campfire feel that stokes an unmistakably vibrant spirit.
Overall, Palermo Restaurant Melbourne is an excellent choice for those looking for an authentic Argentinian dining experience in Melbourne. From its delicious grilled cuisine to its fine wine selection and stunning interior design, Palermo has everything you need for an unforgettable night out with friends or family.
