Highett is lighting up this winter ✨ For the very first time, Neon Nights is coming to Highett Village - bringing colour, creativity and glowing installations to our neighbourhood, thanks to Bayside City Council.

Between 4.30pm – 8pm on Sat, Aug 8, the precinct will come alive with vibrant hues, interactive displays and playful neon moments - plus a Dog Treat Trail to match this year’s Neon Dog Park theme. Bring your pup along and stop in at participating businesses for a free treat as you wander!

Right across the village, traders will also be serving up special prices, fun deals and affordable treats - everything from discount kids cones with free glow sticks and Dog Yog tubs, to Greek BBQ tastings, DJs, mulled wine, ski lodge pop ups, $10 hero menus, Filipino combo meals, warming soups and hot chocs, and $1 prosecco tastings. It’s the perfect night to explore, snack, sip and enjoy the glow.

The event is completely free, runs from 4.30pm – 8pm, and you don’t need to book - just stroll through, explore and enjoy the neon magic. The earlier start time makes it perfect for families and little ones who love bright colours before bedtime.

Public transport:
- Catch a train on the Frankston line towards Frankston or Flinders Street Station and alight at Highett Railway Station.
- From there, walk east along Highett Road for about 5 minutes until you reach the destination.
