What people say
Lebanese restaurants are known for their delicious and authentic cuisine, and Taita's House on Street George's Road in Melbourne is no exception. With a name that means "Grandma" in Arabic, Taita's House offers a variety of amazing traditional Lebanese home-style dishes that are sure to satisfy any craving.
One standout dish is the Kafta Bi-Siniyeh, which features lamb rolled into balls with parsley, onion, and spices, cooked with potato, onion, red capsicum, garlic, and tomato before being covered in a rich tomato sauce. Served with traditional rice, this dish is perfect for those cold winter nights.
For vegans or those looking for a lighter option, Taita's House also offers the Vegan Kousa Mahshi - a delicious Lebanese stuffed zucchini filled with rice, mixed spices, parsley, tomato, chickpeas and dried mint. Cooked in tomato purée and garlic sauce, this dish is available every day.
In addition to their mouth-watering dishes, Taita's House also has friendly staff like Deanna who have been dedicated to serving customers for over 18 months. So if you're looking for an authentic Lebanese dining experience in Melbourne, be sure to visit Taita's House - where the food is made just like Grandma used to make it!
