TODAY LAST DAY !!! Queridos amigos de Arcadia.
Dificil tarea es comunicar el adios de algo que uno con toda ilusion y amor a soñado, pensado, planeado y a creado dandole forma a nuestro restaurante español Arcadia que como un hijo a crecido con nosotros por estos 15 años dandonos tantas satisfacciones y aventuras, reconocimientos publicos del buen hacer, reconocimientos de la critica hospitalaria poniendonos en lugares altos, y como no pudiendo expresar nuestro gran amor y entrega de servir, de llevar nuestras costumbres culinarias españolas con todos sus sabores y poder entregar a este maravilloso continente como es Australia el conocimiento de nuevos aires culinarios con gran acierto.
Como todos saben, este es un negocio familiar el cual es regentado por mi esposa Ruth al frente y por mi como Chef principal y ya llegan los años detrás y lo principal problemas de salud en mi caso.
Es por lo que tristemente hemos decidido cerrar esta maravillosa etapa de nuestra vida y agradecer a todo nuestro equipo y a toda nuestra clientela de la cual muchos son ahora nuestros amigos cercanos el poder haber entregado nuestro amor por servir con excelencia nuestra gastronomía que al final es el sueño de todo cocinero y poder contribuir a expandir la grandiosa gastronomía española en Australia.
Pero dejamos una puerta abierta, seguiremos con nuestros catering de tapas y paellas, comidas preparadas que distribuimos a delis, restaurantes, eventos privados, etc.
Gracias de todo corazón por estos años que hemos compartido y por habernos aceptado con su gran fidelidad como clientes.
Y como no agradecer a Union Road en Ascot Vale y a Union Road Traders que junto con su vecindad que nos vio crecer y siempre recibimos su apoyo.

Dear friends of Arcadia.
It is a difficult task to say goodbye to something that one has dreamed, thought, planned and created with all his enthusiasm and love, giving shape to our Spanish restaurant Arcadia, which has grown with us like a son for these 15 years, giving us so much satisfaction and adventure, public recognition of good work, recognition of hospital critics putting us in high places, and how could we not express our great love and dedication to serve, to bring our Spanish culinary customs with all their flavors and to be able to deliver to this wonderful continent like Australia the knowledge of new culinary airs with great success.
As everyone knows, this is a family business which is run by my wife Ruth at the front and by me as the main Chef and the years are coming behind and the main health problems in my case.
This is why we have sadly decided to close this wonderful stage of our life and thank all our team and all our clientele, many of whom are now our close friends, for having been able to share our love for serving our gastronomy with excellence, which in the end is the dream of every cook, and for being able to contribute to expanding the great Spanish gastronomy in Australia.
But we leave one door open, we will continue with our catering of tapas and paellas, prepared meals that we distribute to delis, restaurants, private events, etc.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for these years that we have shared and for having accepted us with your great loyalty as clients.
And how can we not thank Union Road in Ascot Vale and Union Road Traders who, together with its neighbourhood, saw us grow and always received their support.
