What an incredible journey it’s been so far! On this day 6 years ago we opened our doors to the Essendon community with the hopes of making The Essendon Hotel an establishment that will last a lifetime! 6 years of pouring beers, sharing laughs, creating memories, and being part of such an amazing community!
We want to thank our family, friends, staff, past & present and especially our loyal customers who have supported us through the all the highs, some of the lows, the chaos, and everything else in between. You’re the reason this place feels like home! 🤍

To get to the pub and restaurant located on Mt Alexander Road in Melbourne, you can take the tram or bus. Take the tram or bus heading towards the north and alight at the intersection of Mt Alexander Road and Buckley Street. The restaurant is a short walk from there.
If you prefer driving, take the Tullamarine Freeway going north and turn left onto Matthews Avenue. From here, continue straight until you reach a roundabout with a statue in the center. Take the third exit from this roundabout onto Mt Alexander Road and drive straight for about 1 km until you see the restaurant on your left side.
Parking is available at the rear of the building or along nearby streets. Please make sure to check all parking signs before leaving your vehicle to avoid any fines.
