Good packaging has more than one job to do.
It needs to protect your meals, keep them fresh during refrigerated delivery, be practical to store and reheat, and be considered beyond the point of delivery.
That’s why our cardboard delivery boxes, insulation layer and meal containers are all recyclable. Our meal containers are also made from recycled plastic bottles and are designed to go safely from freezer to microwave or oven.
When choosing our packaging, we consider both sustainability and functionality. The recycled material used for our containers requires less energy and water to produce than some alternatives, while still giving our meals the protection they need.
We’re always reviewing our options and looking for ways to improve, but for now, this gives us the best balance of keeping your meals fresh, making them easy to use and reducing environmental impact where we can.

Our Truffle & Comté Pomme Dauphinoise layers thinly sliced Dutch cream potatoes with cream, garlic, thyme, Grana Padano and Comté, finished with truffle and baked until golden.

Small batch means more care at every stage.
Our meals are prepared in-house by hand, using techniques designed to develop and preserve flavour. From pickling and fermenting to making our own sauces and seasonings, much of what goes into each dish is made from scratch, with no added preservatives.
That extra care is part of what gives every dish its depth of flavour.

Looking to spice up dinner this week? Our Beef Birria starts with grass-fed Angus beef, slowly braised in a rich consommé of roasted tomatoes, dried Mexican chilies, garlic, star anise, cloves and spices, until fork-tender.
Serve it as a bowl with steamed rice, finely chopped onion, coriander and lime - or load it into soft-shell tacos with cheese and crisp them up in a pan.

One of the things customers love about Marçi ready meals is that there are no subscriptions or ongoing commitments.
Orders close off at 11pm every Tuesday, with pickup or delivery available on Fridays. Simply place an order whenever you'd like.
As every meal arrives frozen, they're ready to keep in the freezer until you're ready to enjoy them.Perfect for busy weeknights, easy lunches or keeping a few quality meals on hand.

To get to the coffee shop and salad bar, located on Glenferrie Road in Hawthorn, you can take public transportation by taking either the tram lines 16 or 70 towards Wattle Park or Waterfront City Docklands respectively. Get off at the Glenferrie Road stop and walk towards your destination.
If driving, there are parking lots nearby including the surface lot at Lido Cinemas or metered street parking along Glenferrie Road. Be sure to check for posted parking restrictions.
Alternatively, you may choose to park at any available parking space near Glenferrie station then transferring on tram line 16 towards Kew or Camberwell and getting off at the Glenferrie Road stop.

Marci, located on Glenferrie Road in Hawthorn, is a coffee shop and salad bar that offers wholesome food to takeaway. They specialize in coffee, lunch, and dinner and also provide catering and takeout services. Marci's doors are now open again for dine-in customers in accordance with the new restrictions. Their BBQ salmon with tomato chilli jam, cashews, coconut, and hot mint is a delicious add-on to any of their fresh salads or can be enjoyed on its own. Their Peri Peri Cauliflower salad with white bean puree and St David garlic yoghurt is simple yet delicious. Marci keeps their coffee beans topped up so that customers always have coffee in their cup. Despite lockdowns affecting their business, Marci remains open with the same hours and same delicious fresh food. Their fresh-made bagels are the perfect way to start your day right.
