To our wonderful Prahran community, we have some news to share.
After an incredible journey that began on Murray Street, and from our home on High/York Street; the time has finally come for Crooked Letters to close its doors. Our last day of trade will be Friday 4th September.
We always knew this day would come, we just didn’t expect to be so lucky as to get five extra years out of what was meant to be a temporary lease. Five more years of bagels, great coffee, and even better company. We wouldn’t be us without you guys!
To everyone who has made us part of their morning routine, who has sat at our tables, laughed (a lot!) with us, allowed us to love your pooches as much as you do, who has become a familiar face and even part of our Crooked family - thank you.
Getting to serve this community has been such a pleasure, and we’ll carry these years with us long after we lock up for the last time.
So let’s make this last month a banger! Come in, grab your favourite bits, and help us go out the way we came in - with full hearts, good vibes, humble bagels and caffeine 🥯☕

To get to High Street Prahran in Melbourne, you can take the tram number 6 towards Glen Iris and get off at the stop on High Street. Alternatively, you can take the Sandringham train line to Prahran station and then walk north along Chapel Street until you reach High Street.
If driving, take the Punt Road exit from CityLink and turn left onto Commercial Road. Follow this road until it turns into High Street and look for parking options in nearby streets or at a pay-and-display car park located on Izett Street.
Once you arrive at High Street Prahran, you'll find numerous cafes and restaurants located along the street, including a popular coffee shop with a distinctive name.
