From 35°C+ music festivals just a few months ago… to -4°C with snow falling at Falls Creek today.
One week we’re serving thousands of festival-goers under the summer sun. The next, we’re dishing up hot curries, samosa’s and coffee while the snow falls outside our service window.
Running a food truck isn’t always easy (the commute to work was equal parts stunning and slightly terrifying 😆). But it's moments like this remind us how lucky we are. We get to travel Australia, meet incredible people, and trade at some of the country’s most iconic events and most breathtaking locations.
Today, we’re feeling pretty grateful to call Falls Creek Village Bowl home for the winter season. The picture does not do justice to the breathtaking view!

Who says catering has to be boring?
For this private event we served up masala fries, desi hot dogs, tandoori chicken, and curry & rice bowls—easy-to-eat favourites that are perfect for standing events.
The best part? Everything is cooked fresh inside our food truck, so there's no mess in your home or venue.
We have food trucks in different sizes available to suit your space—this medium-sized unit was perfect for fitting into a tight driveway.

It's been a slow start to the snow season, but we're keeping our fingers crossed that this weekend brings a fresh dump of snow and gets the lifts at Village Bowl spinning.

Two Fat Indians have arrived Falls Creek!
We’re excited to bring some big Indian flavours to the mountain this season. Come find us at Village Bowl where we’ll be serving up winter warmers including:
Masala Chai
Butter Chicken — on rice or loaded over fries
Veg Samosas
Morning Mango Lassis
🔥 Plus rotating specials throughout the season
We’ll be serving lunch from 11am–2pm and dinner from 4:30pm–7:00pm.
Once the snow arrives and the lifts start spinning, we’ll be trading all day — including breakfast to get you fuelled for a big day on the slopes ⛷️ (we’ll be doing our best snow dance until then ❄️)
Whether you’re a local, a seasonal worker, or just visiting for the snow, come say hi and grab a feed from the Two Fat Indians food truck.
We’re also looking for a few casual team members from next week. If you’re keen on some shifts, slide into our DMs.

Sandown Revival in full swing.
Historic race cars back on track at Sandown Raceway, a circuit that’s been hosting motorsport legends since the 1960s. Old-school racers, big engine noise, and proper throwback vibes.
Bit windy today but it’s not stopping the punters. Still lining up for their vintage car fix and a serve of our butter chicken.
Two Fat Indians trading all weekend. Old-school engines, retro racing spirit, and comfort food that never goes out of style.

Basically, it’s the kind of cold that makes butter chicken the main character… if we do say so ourselves. 🧡😁

We wrapped up a massive few days of food trucking with the Diljit AURA concert at AAMI Park — and WOW! 🔥
The crowd was pure energy, the fits were next-level 👗✨, and once again… the samosas stole the show. 🥟💃

To get to Bemersyde Drive in Melbourne, you can take the train to Glen Iris Station and then walk for about 10 minutes to reach the location. Alternatively, you can take a tram to High Street/Burke Road and then walk for about 15 minutes. If you choose to drive, there is limited street parking available on Bemersyde Drive and surrounding streets. It's best to arrive early or be prepared to walk a short distance from your parked car.
