Chennai Biryani is a newly launched restaurant in Melbourne that brings the authentic flavors of Chettinad region to its customers. Norman Fosberry, the founder and Entrepreneur of Modern Indian Restaurant, with his 30 years of culinary experience has introduced this all-time classic dish to the town. Chennai Biryani offers a classic meal for special occasions and festivals which includes mutton or chicken paired with brinjal pickle, yoghurt, salad and pickled potatoes served with secret Chettinad spices. Chennai-Biryani will be launched at the restaurant on July 15, 2017 and will remain as an addition to the menu henceforth.

To get to Hampton Street in Keysborough, you can either drive or take public transport. If driving, head south on the Monash Freeway and take the South Gippsland Highway exit. Continue along this road until you reach the intersection with Cheltenham Road, where you should turn left. From there, turn right onto Heatherton Road and then left onto Hampton Street.
If taking public transport, catch a train to either Dandenong or Noble Park station and then transfer to bus 828 towards Carrum Downs. Get off at the intersection of Hampton Street and Heatherton Road, and the restaurant will be a short walk from there.
