Mona met Bechara 70 yrs ago 💘
She sang to him from her window sill every night at dawn as he stood below and replied with his own song 😘
They eloped against their families wishes as Bechara (our Grandfather) was a poor man and Mona was 2 years older than him at 19 years old 🐆

Kafta was batata, our fave ❤️🔥
Growing up, this was one of mums staple meals for the family. We run home from school knowing the a simmering pot of meatballs and potatoes were almost ready to devour 😍
Our Kafta:
Premium herbed beef meatballs with onion and parsley, baby potatoes, crushed tomatoes simmered to the perfect thicker tomato sauce with chilli and garlic 🌶🧄🥘
