Just a little note from a small restaurant owner.
When you make a group booking with us, we genuinely hold that table just for you. In a small venue like ours, every single table matters. We prep ingredients, roster staff, and often turn away walk-in customers — choosing to trust and honour your reservation instead.
So when a table no-shows without any message or last-minute cancellation, it honestly hits harder than people might realise.
It’s not just an empty table —
it’s lost business, prepared food, staff time, and customers we had to say no to because we believed our booked guests would arrive.
A reservation is more than just a booking.
It’s an agreement between guests and a small business built on trust and respect.
We completely understand that plans can change — life happens!
But if you can’t make it, even a quick text or short call makes a huge difference for small businesses like ours.
That’s also why we have a no-show policy in place for group bookings, and why we notify guests about it at the time of booking.
We truly appreciate everyone who respects reservations and continues to support small local restaurants like ours.

Even before any announcement, you stopped by — which truly meant a lot to us. It was a warm and grateful way to kick off our first days in business this year.
