We appreciate that many of you have been reaching out following a post that was published prematurely, as well as the speculation that has been circulating online. We want to take a moment to address this directly.
It is with great disappointment that we confirm Wilsons Bar & Bistro is closing its doors and entering liquidation.
This is an incredibly challenging time across the hospitality industry, and despite our best efforts — including pivoting the business more than once to find a sustainable path forward — we’ve had to make this difficult decision.
We want to give a special mention to our incredible staff, who have shown unwavering dedication and professionalism throughout. They are the heart of any hospitality venue, and we couldn’t be more proud of the team we’ve had at Wilsons.
We understand there has been a lot of commentary online, and we’d respectfully ask that people are mindful that there are real people behind this business who have given everything to make it work.
To everyone who has walked through our doors, supported us, and sent kind messages — thank you. It has meant more than you know.
