To all our wonderful Mabel family with a heavy heart we are announcing that we are handing over the reins to the new owners Vien and Van. We have loved the past two years owning and operating the cafe and are very grateful for all the support we have received. It is difficult for us to say goodbye as we have made so many friends but are also looking forward to embarking on new adventures. A big thank you to our amazing team who helped make it all happen and who are all happy to stay working at The Mabel. Bill’s last day is tomorrow and I will be hanging around for the next two weeks. Best wishes to Vien and Van we hope you enjoy running The Mabel as much as we did! Love Mel ♡♡♡

Thanks everyone for another amazing year. It’s wonderful to see familiar faces popping in to the cafe on a regular basis. Your support and friendship is invaluable. Thanks to my husband Bill for all the extra support and hard work he has put in this year. Much appreciated.

To reach the coffee shop and restaurant at McKeon Road in Melbourne, you have a few options.
For public transport, you can take the train to the nearest station and then walk or take a bus to the location. The nearest station is Melbourne Central Station, which is about 5 kilometers away from the destination. You can then take a bus from there to McKeon Road.
If you are driving, there are various parking areas near McKeon Road where you can park your car. There is street-side parking available on some of the smaller streets off McKeon Road, as well as several paid parking lots in the area. From there, it's just a short walk to the destination.
