Dear valued customers,
After 27 wonderful years, we share with both heavy hearts and deep gratitude that Yokohama Teppanyaki Japanese Restaurant will be closing its doors. Our final day of trading will be Sunday, 27th July 2025.
Since opening in 1998, it has been our greatest honour and privilege to serve you authentic Japanese cuisine, prepared with love and dedication. As a small, family-owned business, we could not have come this far without your incredible support. Your kindness and loyalty over the past 27 years have meant everything to us.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for being part of our journey. We feel honoured to have shared many precious moments with you - whether it was a family celebration, a quiet dinner or a special night out.
We wish each and every one of you happiness, health and continued success in all you do.

Dear Customers,
We are so pleased to announce that we will be reopening from the 29th October (Thursday). Thank you for your patience. It has been a tough battle and all Victorians deserve to celebrate!
However, we will still need to abide by the government’s guidelines, in order to ensure the health and safety of our customers and staff. Hence, like our previous opening, a maximum of 20 customers will be allowed to dine in our restaurant at any given time. Please make a reservation in advance to secure your table. Additionally, for our dinner service, we will be operating with two sessions at 6pm and 8pm.

Dear customers
We hope everyone is well.
We are very excited to announce that we will start trading from the 4th June, Thursday.
Due to the current restrictions, we will only be allowed to have a total of 20 customers inside the restaurant at any given time. Hence, we recommend everyone make a reservation in advance to ensure a table, at 9560 1117.
