The last couple of months were a bit chaotic.

Been dealing with a serious hernia, surgery kept getting delayed because of bureaucracy… so naturally we decided it was the perfect time to open Shelahem upstairs.

Some services I literally had to run sitting down like a retired nonno.

But honestly, this situation showed me how lucky I am. My team stepped up in the biggest way and reminded me that what we built here is much more than a restaurant, it’s fu***ng family.

Finally taking the time now to fix myself properly ❤️

- We want to hear your story, Read the caption -

Sometimes, things don’t go as planned.

Today we got a late cancellation for tomorrow, Sunday.
Usually, we would simply offer the seats to our waiting list.

But a few weeks ago, something happened that stayed with us.

We welcomed a guest who told us this experience was on her bucket list.
She was going through cancer, and she wanted to live this moment while she could.

It reminded us why we do what we do. So today, we want to do things differently.

We would love to offer these 2 seats to someone who truly needs a moment, someone who has been going through a difficult time, who could use a night to escape, to feel, to breathe.

If someone comes to mind:

Tell us their story.
Tag them (or send us a private message if you prefer).

We’ll read every message and choose someone to join us.

This isn’t about a giveaway.
It’s about sharing something meaningful.

We’ll announce shortly 🤍

Meet Chef Gael ❤️
The chef behind a lot more than just the dishes.
Loved his answers, even if we sometimes struggle to understand his French accent 😅
