CAKE/LIFE UPDATE!

I've been pretty quiet on here over the past few months, and after alot of thinking & EOFY figures coming back, I've made the extremely hard decision to close the kitchen and take a break from cakes for the foreseeable future.

Unfortunately, outgoings/overheads and the constant rising cost of supplies have made it too difficult for me to continue making cakes & it being beneficial.

The Sweet Kitchen Co will be finishing up at its current location at the end of September & taking a well-earned break.

I don't know what the future holds - maybe some time next year I can open a home kitchen studio, but that's something I will decide after a decent break.

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank all those who have ordered from me over the years & the unwavering support. It's been so much fun being a part of your life's celebrations ♡

For those using public transportation there are several options to get to this bakery and dessert restaurant located in Melbourne. One option is to take the train and get off at Flinders Street Station, then walk for about 10 minutes along Swanston Street until you reach a large shopping center. Another option is to take the tram and get off at Bourke Street Mall, then go south-east through Elizabeth Street until you reach another big shopping center.

For drivers, the bakery and dessert restaurant can be accessed from the Camden St or Victoria St intersections with Swanston Street. There is limited street parking available in the area, but there are several car parks nearby.
