To reach Mitchell Street in Melbourne using public transport, take the tram to the State Library Victoria tram stop and walk south on Swanston St towards La Trobe St. Turn right onto La Trobe St and continue walking until you reach Elizabeth St. Turn left onto Elizabeth St and walk south until you reach Little Lonsdale Street. Turn right onto Little Lonsdale Street and continue walking until you reach the next street intersection. Turn left onto this street, and you will find the café on your right-hand side.
If driving to Mitchell Street, you can take any major road that leads to Melbourne CBD and then turn onto Elizabeth St. Once on Elizabeth St, drive south until you reach Little Lonsdale Street. Turn right onto Little Lonsdale Street, continue driving for a block or two and then turn left at the next intersection. The café will be located on your right-hand side.
There are various parking options around Mitchell Street; however, it is recommended that visitors use either Federation Square Car Park or the nearby Wilson Parking lot as they are both relatively close to the café.
