Events and Catering Administration Manager
Bursaria Fine Foods is seeking an energetic and dynamic professional to be a part of our catering company and events venue located at The Refectory Werribee Park.
Bursaria is one of Melbourne’s leading wedding and events caterers, continuing to deliver the most amazing, styled events and retail offering at the historic Werribee Park.
Reporting to the Director, this role will suit a creative and passionate person to manage our office, whilst coordinating new and existing clients at our exclusive venue.
This role requires a positive, highly motivated, and enthusiastic professional who thrives on achieving results. The role will require you to manage the administration side of our business and support the Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Production departments with a high level of commitment.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
Proven results in administration, experience in office
management, preferably with a large venue, multiple venues and/or catering company.
Managing phone enquiries, guests and client correspondence via email and telephone, and contractual paperwork.
Passion for the food and beverage and events industry with a creative flair
Effective leadership, organisational and interpersonal communication skills
An understanding of technology – knowledge of POS and Xero platforms is preferred.
A professional approach and an enthusiastic work manner
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Strong business and financial administration knowledge
Ability to connect with and engage, and preferably have existing relationships with suppliers within the hospitality industry.
The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
A Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Business Management or a related discipline would be considered highly advantageous.
Impeccable customer service and presentation standards.
