Luxsmith’s w**e list has received Two Glasses (Excellent) in the 2026 Australia’s W**e List of the Year Awards.
The judges loved the range from Victoria’s key w**e regions, the selections from further afield and the value across the list. There’s plenty to explore, whether you’re stopping by the w**e bar for a glass or choosing a bottle for the table.
A lovely nod to the team and a good excuse to see what’s on the list next time you’re in.

Next Thursday, we’re giving winter one last night.
We’re teaming up with Dark Spirits Victoria for an after-dark mix of winter food, dark spirits and vinyl at Luxsmith.
There’ll be a seasonal shared menu from the Luxsmith kitchen, paired pours from JimmyRum, Bass & Flinders and Timboon, with Dark Spirits Victoria sharing the stories behind what’s in your glass while a DJ spins vinyl until late.

To reach the Asian fusion restaurant at Gamon Street in Melbourne via public transport, you can take a train to Footscray Station and then catch the 216 or 219 bus towards Sunshine. Get off at Parker St/Gamon St and walk for around 2 minutes to reach your destination. Alternatively, you can take a tram along Victoria Street and get off at Nicholson Street/Somerville Road stop. Walk down Somerville Road and then turn left onto Gamon Street.
If driving, from central Melbourne head west on Footscray Rd towards Docklands. Turn right onto Dynon Rd and keep following it until you reach West Melbourne. Turn left onto Dryburgh St and then left onto Victoria St before continuing on to Somerville Rd. Take a right onto Gamon St and look for parking in the surrounding streets or use nearby pay-and-display parking lots.
