FAQ - East Malvern Food + Wine Festival 2025
Where & when?
Sunday 23 November 2025, 11 am – 6 pm, at Central Park, Malvern East (corner of Wattle Tree & Burke Roads, 148 Burke Rd, Malvern East VIC 3145).
Is entry free?
Yes — general entry is free for all ages.
🍷 What if I want to taste wine / beer / spirits?
You’ll need to purchase a tasting ticket package (starting at $39.50) which includes a branded festival glass + 5 × 50 ml tasting tickets — and you must use the branded glass for any alcoholic drinks.
Can I bring my own glass?
No — BYO glassware is not allowed and no glass is allowed. You must use the festival-branded glass for tastings and by-the-glass sales.
What about bottle sales / take-home?
Bottle sales are take-home only. You can buy bottles from the wineries, brewers & distillers on site (or contact them directly afterwards).
What food & producer stalls will there be?
Expect a great selection of Victorian wineries, local craft beer & distillers, and gourmet food vendors, artisanal producers of gourmet condiments, desserts, ice-cream, etc.
Is it family-friendly?
Yes — it’s a public, free-entry all ages event in a park setting, so great for groups, families and friends.
Can I bring my dog?
Absolutely, furry friends are welcome, just please on a leash!
Is the event accessible for wheelchairs and mobility devices?
Yes. The event has level pathways into the park and level crossovers into the grassed event areas. There are two accessible permanent toilets located within the park. If you need assistance at any time, our friendly event staff are always available to help — just ask.
What about parking / transport?
The festival is in a park setting in Malvern East. Consider arriving early / using public transport if possible, ride your bike or walk.
🌦️ What if the weather’s not great?
As it’s outdoors, check the local forecast ahead of coming. Appropriate clothing / layers always a good idea in November!
Anything else I should know?
o It is a fully licensed event, so no BYO.
o Bring some cash/card for beverages, food, gifts & take-home items.
o Respect the space — enjoy, but leave no trace.
o Grab your tasting ticket package early to avoid lines.
o Stay hydrated and refill your water at our water station which is centrally located (always wise when tasting wine/beer/spirits). Bring your water refill bottle!!
