GOODBYE FROM iPUGLIESI.
‘Piacere’: A sense of lively satisfaction, which identifies with the satisfaction of appetites, desires, and aspirations. This has been iPugliesi for me!
A little project born without knowing exactly how to do it all – that quickly and organically made me realise it was exactly the right thing to do- like a dress you see that you know is going to be perfect on your body!
Many customers, kids, family, friends, suppliers and beautiful staff lived iPugliesi with us. A lot of food has been prepared in the tiniest kitchen with the biggest heart. Rainy days, sunny days, sad days, happy days, angry and hungry days , covid days... we showed up no matter what, and we all did it together. I'm extremely thankful for all the moments you gifted me. I've found a community, that i have involuntarily [edit: OK, intentionally] made half-Italian, and I hope to never lose. We have achieved our vision, fulfilled our purpose and now it’s time for a change. I’ll miss you but I know I’ll see you again. The last Caffè & Pasticciotto at Coburg Hill will be served at 3PM Sunday 24th December – Hopefully see you for a hug. I’m not crying, it’s the cipolla on the frisella.
It’s truly been a Piacere.
Grazie di cuore.
Clara, Stef, Marty and all the famiglia iP. Xx

Introducing the next delicacy provided at iPugliesi... Crema Caffè! To a lot of people, this italian coffee is reminiscient of many beautiful summer days on the beach. Partake in the culture this summer!

What people say
iPugliesi is a hidden gem located on Elizabeth Street in Melbourne. This cozy coffee shop, deli, and Italian restaurant offers a unique experience that will transport you straight to Italy. The menu boasts a variety of delicious Italian dishes, including the famous Burrata cheese with typical rape al peperoncino. The panino porchetta is also a must-try for anyone looking for an authentic Italian sandwich.
What sets iPugliesi apart from other restaurants is their commitment to community involvement. They recently launched 'Cars & Cornetti', an event that supports the Good Friday Appeal and invites enthusiasts of Italian and other European cars (and bikes!) to come together and enjoy traditional Italian coffee and pastries while raising funds for the Royal Children's Hospital.
The owner's passion for their business shines through in every aspect of iPugliesi. Their journey to get where they are today has been long and challenging, but they have persevered and created something truly special. At iPugliesi, you can be assured that you will still be able to mangiare ITALIANO.....vero!!!
