We had the pleasure of taking two whole weeks off to get outta the kitchen woo hoo! As amazing as the trip was, it was bookended with driving through some serious smoke and ALOT of previously bushfire affected parts of this beautiful country. On the drive home today, we saw countless CFA and RFS trucks, covered in ash and soot, carting crews who had worked through the night. The smell of smoke is in everything (including our dogs fur) and everything is far too intense to ignore.

Devastated is an understatement. For the month of January at we are donating all profits to the relevant bushfire funds. We will also have the option for you to donate in store at the counter.

We don’t even know if money can help but sometimes this is the only commodity to trade that effectively communicates the value we place on things. We urge you to do the same. Find your way to do something that helps - donate, volunteer or do whatever you can to affect the change we need in the world right now. We have always loved by the motto “if you can, you must”. This is our earth and our time to step up and love her the way she should be loved.

Grills are back on from the 6th January. We hope to see you then for great burgs (obvi) but also to give back anyway you can.

I had the pleasure of taking two whole weeks off my life and driving to Lennox Head, just south of Byron Bay. As amazing as the trip was, it was bookended with driving through some serious smoke and ALOT of previously bushfire affected parts of this beautiful country. On the drive home today, we saw countless CFA and RFS trucks, covered in ash and soot, carting crews who had worked through the night. The smell of smoke is in everything (including my dogs fur) and everything is far too intense to ignore it.

Devastated is an understatement. For the month of January at we are donating all profits to the relevant bushfire funds. I will also be donating my wage and running donation classes (stay tuned for more info) at both and to support those who are fighting the real fight.

I don’t even know if money can help but sometimes this is the only commodity to trade that effectively communicates the value we place on things. I urge you to do the same. Find your way to do something that helps (also check out page for some great tips). Donate, volunteer or do whatever you can to help. I’ve always loved by the motto “if you can, you must”. This is our earth and our time to step up and love her the way she should be loved.
