Last night, Kyleβs cousin Brooke was brutally murdered by her partner.
She wasnβt just another headline. She wasnβt just another statistic.
Brooke was a beautiful mum to two little boys who have now been robbed of their mum and their future as they knew it. In a single moment, an entire family has been left shattered. While her incredible family have stepped in to surround these boys with love, nothing can replace the loss they will carry for the rest of their lives.
My heart is broken for everyone who loved Brooke.
There is a GoFundMe set up to support her family, and I ask, from the bottom of my heart, that if you are able to give, please do. Every donation, no matter how small, will help.
But please donβt let Brooke become another post that disappears from your feed in a few days. Donβt let her become another number in the growing list of women killed by someone who claimed to love them.
How many more women have to die before enough is enough?
Family violence is destroying lives, devastating children, and leaving families to pick up the pieces. We need stronger action, greater accountability, better support for victims, and a society that refuses to accept this as βjust another tragedy.β
For Brooke.
For her boys.
For every family living this nightmare.
Please keep talking about family violence. Please keep demanding change. Please donβt let Brooke be forgotten. π

So much has changed over the decades, yet two things have always remained the same- being a local family-run business and a place at the heart of the Lang Lang community π€
For generations, this beautiful old pub has been where friendships have grown, milestones have been celebrated, stories have been shared, and locals have always known theyβll find a familiar face.
