LOOKING FOR WORKERS
Food Trailer All-Rounder – Heritage Curry House (Sunbury)
Location: Sunbury, VIC
Hours: Wednesday to Sunday, 4:30 PM – 9:30 PM (25 hours per week)
Heritage Curry House is looking for a reliable and energetic Food Trailer All-Rounder to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced food environment and is comfortable handling both kitchen and customer service duties.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve food according to customer orders
* Customise curry spice levels as requested by customers
* Cook rice and operate commercial fryers
* Take customer orders and process payments using the POS system
* Serve customers and provide friendly customer service
* Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
* Clean and close down the food trailer at the end of each shift
Requirements
* Good English communication skills
* Comfortable interacting with customers
* Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods
* Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
* Experience working in hospitality, takeaway, food trucks, or commercial kitchens preferred
Preferred
* Experience with Indian curries and Indian food preparation
* Previous experience using POS systems
* Experience operating fryers and preparing takeaway food
