As of Monday, July 21, The Main will no longer be open for dinner service and will instead be closing daily at 5:00PM.

We want to thank you for your continued support and understanding as we make this shift. We’ve loved sharing evenings with you, and we’re excited to continue serving you during our daytime hours

Our trading hours have returned to normal, and we are open from 7 AM to 9 PM.

To get to the café located on Main Road in Melbourne, there are a few options depending on your mode of transportation:

Public Transport:
- Take any train heading to Eltham Station and upon arrival, take the 293 bus towards Greensborough and alight at Main Road/Templestowe College. Walk a short distance towards Main Road to find the café.
- Alternatively, take the 902 bus from Chelsea Bus Interchange towards Airport West SC and alight at The Circuit/Main Rd. From there, walk down Main Road until you reach your destination.

Driving/Parking:
- If driving from Melbourne CBD or surrounding suburbs, take State Route 40/State Route 48 towards Eltham and follow signs for Main Road. There is limited street parking available on Main Road or nearby streets as well as a small car park behind the cafe accessible via Dudley Street or Commercial Place.
