Tally Kitchen, a café, diner and burger restaurant, has been serving delicious food since its establishment in 2015 in Port Melbourne. They have now relocated to 6/157 Hyde St, Yarraville and offer an extensive menu of breakfast, brunch, burgers, soul food, vegan and vegetarian options. Tally Kitchen provides delivery, catering services for groups and outdoor seating with walk-ins welcome as well as takeout available. Their specialties include breakfast, coffee, dinner and lunch. At Tally Kitchen they believe in making a difference by offering a variety of tasty and affordable food options.

Hey everyone, until we achieve our restaurant fit out results. We will be open for pick up, takeaway on the platforms or via phone In the new Yarraville shop. From 10 am to 130 Monday to Friday. This is so we keep our regular customers happy😂😂

Today we close our doors after 7 1/2 years in Port Melbourne/South Melbourne. Michael and Terry would like to personally thank everyone that has supported them since the very beginning. Many amazing, critical events that have happened in their lives have happened during this time, and they will never be forgotten. The time has come for them to have some fun, and to really enjoy the moments. This exciting new adventure aligns more to their personal identities, giving a more authentic brand and feel. Our new burger lounge and cafe means that we are not saying goodbye to Tally. We will have our staples on the table and some great new concepts. We will be opening (reopening) our ⚡️sliding door in March, in Yarraville. Looking forward to seeing you again in the shop. You will miss out on all the fun if you shop on one of those awful delivery platforms 😂😂

We got our car back. Looks like she went away and had a bit of surgery, and ran out of money. I’m guessing they ran out of spray cans and couldn’t break into a supercheap auto? Not sure. The police found it in somebody’s backyard. Thank you for the tip off whoever you are.

Immediate start for our Port Melbourne location and option of working across both sites.

Experience in hospitality is a plus, but we can provide training for those with the right attitude.

Positive, professional energy & attitude
Ability to follow processes, working to recipes
Confidently work independently
Experience cooking in a commercial kitchen environment.
Experience and understanding of regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment as required.
High level of verbal communication skills
An appreciation of quality food and food service.
HACCPS
The job -
Preparing, seasoning, cooking and plating dishes to our recipes in a timely manner.
Maintaining records of stock levels and placing orders as required.
Maintaining a work station that is clean & hygienic whilst adhering to all relevant food and safety guidelines.

We Just wanted to thank everyone for their patience the last couple of days. Like most food businesses of our nature, we have been cruising along with not a great deal of customers coming into work and then BOOM! all of a sudden there’s people everywhere 😬. Unfortunately we have no forecasting ability around when people are returning to work, and we do get as frustrated as you. We are doing our very best to get the support we need. Thanks again

To get to Hyde Street in Melbourne, you can use public transport or drive/park. If you choose to use public transport, take the train or tram to Footscray Station and walk south for about 10 minutes until you reach Hyde Street.

If you prefer to drive or park, take the West Gate Freeway from the city and exit at Williamstown Road. Turn right onto Williamstown Road and then left onto Somerville Road. Follow Somerville Road until it turns into Geelong Road and then turn left onto Hyde Street. There are several parking lots available along Hyde Street.

Once on Hyde Street, there is a café and diner located nearby that offers a variety of food options including burgers and coffee.
