Arabesque Elsternwick was a Turkish restaurant that offered a culinary journey through the Ottoman empire's 600-year-old flavors. The restaurant was located in the historic Old Elsternwick Post Office building and showcased dishes inspired by the eclectic nature of the Turco, Gypsie-Ottoman neighborhood. Arabesque's kitchen team, led by senior "Food archaeologist" Mr. Fahrettin Elmas, applied key principles to their cuisine, including continuous quest for historic resources and using only seasonal produce. Unfortunately, this business is now permanently closed.
