When the photographer tells you to pile up the easy carve legs of lamb, you do as you’re told!
Ben’s definitely getting in the swing of things at Bennet's Butchery Melbourne.
He’s splitting his time between Maling Rd and TOK in Balwyn North, with the all the cooking and cutting AND (most importantly) the mingling with the community.
Beyond the lamb you can also find our meals! Bennet’s is open until 2pm over the weekend if you need to stock up. 🥘

Hi guys, so we’ve got some news….
Firstly, a huge thank you for all the lovely messages, we really appreciate the support and well wishes.
Secondly, we’re now working with the legends at Bennet’s Butchery on Maling Rd and have been cooking up a storm.
The food will be exclusively available at Bennet’s, pick up only. So head on down and grab a meal or two! They’re open until 2pm over the weekend.
We’ve started with the favourites - Meatballs (pictured here with Elliot and Lia), Coq au Vin, Butter Chicken, Kids Chicken Curry, Chunky Beef Pies and Beef Bourguignon.
Stay tuned - this is an evolving situation.

So here’s a little update… we’ve decided to call time on our foodie journey. We had hoped to stay open for a few more days but the shelves are now bare so that, as they say, is that. Apologies if you missed out!
We want to thank everyone who’s supported us over the years, many of whom have become good friends.
While the emotions are mixed, the memories are great and we’ve gathered plenty over the past 13 years.
We’ve loved being part of the community as small biz owners - Ben’s never shaking the Ben the Butcher moniker!

Our long weekend ended like this… walking the dog around our leafy neighbourhood.
We trust you had a good one! Now it’s all about the short week… we recommend grabbing a few easy meals to deal with the short week time warp.
