It is with great sadness that we announce the closing of TUTTO BENE at Southgate, effective immediately.
We were extremely blessed that so many embraced our restaurant and that we were able to succeed as long as we had during and after the pandemic.
Despite the support of our landlord, suppliers, team, and loyal guests......... the toll of excessive pandemic measures in Victoria, pressures of inflation and closures of the arts precinct means the time has now come to say goodbye.
After almost 20 years of calling Southgate our Tutto Bene home, our landlord has another exciting concept to fill our space.
We hope you welcome all hospitality business and staff with kindness, joy and goodwill for their future.

Option 1: Public Transport
Take the train to Flinders Street Station and exit onto Swanston Street. Walk south towards Federation Square and cross the Yarra River using the pedestrian bridge. Once across, turn left and walk along the river until you reach the restaurant.
Option 2: Driving/Parking
From the CBD, head south on St Kilda Road and turn left onto Alexandra Avenue. Follow this road until you see signs for Southbank Boulevard and turn right. Continue straight until you reach a roundabout, take the second exit onto Riverside Quay. The restaurant is located on your left-hand side. Parking is available at nearby Wilson Parking lots or street parking may be available in surrounding areas.

It is unfortunate that Tutto Bene had to close its doors due to pandemic measures, inflation pressures and closures of arts precincts. However, we will always remember this iconic Italian restaurant for its exceptional food, warm hospitality and breathtaking views. We wish all hospitality businesses and staff who take over this space good luck and hope they continue to provide excellent service like Tutto Bene did for almost 20 years at Southgate.
