Chardonnay and Pinot Noir step forward 🍷 An icon of the Yarra Valley is coming to the Prince of Wales, celebrating wines from steep, closely planted vineyards and a cooler climate that creates the unique wines the region is known for.
We are so pleased to welcome Coldstream Hills to our Meet the Winemaker: Mother’s Day Edition this Saturday, 9 May, hosted by Tony Layton.
Using both traditional and modern winemaking techniques, honours the pedigree and iconic flavours of the Yarra Valley through passion and commitment. You can expect a night tasting beautiful wines selected to surprise and delight.
For $50 per person, experience six selected wines, some surprise prizes throughout the night, a dining experience in our art deco spaces, and nibbles from our Little Prince Wine deli. The perfect way to connect with mum with an experience you won’t soon forget.
Order a meal after the tasting, sign up to Coldstream Hills wine club, or buy a bottle you fell in love with on the night.

Take the train or the tram, and end up right on our doorstep at 2 Acland Street St Kilda.
-> Tram 16 from CBD down St Kilda Road, get off at the corner of Acland and Fitzroy Street.
-> Tram 96 from Brunswick past South Melbourne all the way outside the Prince of Wales at stop 132.
Take the Frankston train line and get off at Balaclava or Malvern, then tram in!
We also have a safe car park for those driving.
