Punch Lane Punch Lane is a unique wine bar and restaurant located on Little Bourke Street in Melbourne, featuring an eclectic collection of artifacts curated by owner Martin Pirc. The venue is housed in a refurbished police station and includes a rich timber bar made up of 100 year-old-jarrah floorboards, hand-crafted wrought iron fixtures, and red leather chairs worn by The Beatles on their 1964 tour to Australia. Designed by acclaimed Melbourne architects Jackson, Clements & Burrows, Punch Lane's dining area provides the perfect spot to sit and watch the world go by. Winner of the 2005 Urban Architecture Award, Punch Lane is a true Melbourne laneway gem that has been a favorite amongst theatre-goers and wine lovers alike.
