Shared Tables Supper Club at Nyala ✶
Nyala invites guests to gather around the table for Shared Tables Supper Club, a weekly dining experience inspired by Ethiopian traditions of sharing food, where meals become moments of connection and the evening unfolds together.
Designed as an open table experience, guests are invited to come as they are, whether arriving solo or with friends, and take a seat among new and familiar faces alike. Through shared dining, music and conversation, Shared Tables creates space for people to slow down, connect and experience the warmth of communal eating traditions.
Every Friday
6:30pm–10:30pm
Beyaynetu banquet — $35pp
A shared Ethiopian dining experience served on injera and designed to be eaten together.
Individual dishes from $25, including Ethiopian, Kenyan, Gambian and Nigerian favourites, with share plates and dips available.
$8 tej — traditional Ethiopian honey wine with generous pours.
DJ selections by Folarin throughout the evening.

For those using public transport, take the train to Victoria Park Station, then head northeast on Johnston Street towards Brunswick Street. Turn left onto Brunswick Street and continue walking until you reach your destination. Alternatively, take the tram 112 or 96 and get off at the corner of Johnston and Brunswick Streets.
For those driving, take Hoddle Highway and exit onto Victoria Parade towards Fitzroy. Turn right onto Nicholson Street and continue straight until you reach Brunswick Street. Turn left onto Brunswick Street and look for parking options nearby.
