STATEMENT FROM BARYALAI RAHIMI, FORMER OWNER OF AFGHAN RAHIMI RESTAURANT. 19/03/2023
As I have previously stated in my post on the 24th of November 2020, I have retired from the hospitality industry. I would like to emphasis that from the 30/11/2020, I no longer owned Afghan Rahimi Restaurant as it was sold to new owners. Since that date, both my family and I have not had any involvement in the restaurant. I personally have not been back to visit the restaurant since its sale in 2020.
Thank you for all the support everyone had provided me during my time as the owner. Cr. Dear valued clients and friends,
After almost 2 decades in hospitality, I, Baryalai Rahimi will officially be retiring from the business on the 30th of November.
I would like to thank each and every one of you for allowing me to take care of you and your families, for telling me the story of yourselves and allowing me to share with you mine, these will be memories I will treasure in the years to come.
For those who would like a final meal together I will be at the restaurant until the 30th, following which I will leave you in the very capable hands of Hayat, who you may know as my current business partner.
While I will work through the logistics of porting the restaurant to its new page (currently linked to my personal account), all details will remain as they are today.
I again thank you for your kindness and support over the many years and appreciate you giving Hayat the opportunity to continue to share our culture and hospitality with you for many years to come.
For those who I will not see before the 30th I wish you a prosperous festive season and new year.
Goodbye for now!
Rahimi
