I get asked this question a lot…

Is Mabrown something I use to wipe my backside - therefore it’s brown?

Just kidding, but just imagine people did ask that and

Imagine dining at Mabrown… since you were a kid, when Grandfather held you in his arms.
Every gathering he’d repeat the same adventure over, and over again.

because when Mother heard the iron gates squeak open…

Not easy when you have to make that call...
to a customer (like 16 of them..) to let them know we need to issue a refund because we ran out of quail and they slam the phone on you
It's like the first time you tell your parents you broke something, remember that feeling?
Who can forget!
Well, we had no idea Doodel would litterally put us out of business - in a good way!

But we did receive an interesting call from our regular yesterday...

One thing you're going to love is this batch of quail is huuuuumongous - I'm talking jurrassic size...
I’m talking so big the lid pops open when I try to close it!
I'm talking it's crazy our suppliers aren't charging us double for these birds. Because of the whole lockdown they've had to let the quails grow a little more and process later, as there's not enough demand for them - as restaurants are unfortunately closing.
