What people say
Creating Villages Inc, Craft and Caffeine is a not-for-profit community craft café located on Thames Boulevard in Melbourne. This charming café offers gold coin donation craft activities for children and older people, including painting, playdough and drawing. The café also sells plasters to paint and has a basic affordable menu with great coffee.
What sets Creating Villages apart is their commitment to being inclusive, flexible, understanding of children and community-minded. They are kid-friendly, pram-friendly, breast-feeding welcome, mums groups welcome, and disabilities welcome. This welcoming environment makes it the perfect place for families to spend quality time together while enjoying some delicious food and drinks.
The café was inspired by the founders' mum/nan Maria who loved doing craft and instilled this love in them. Sadly she passed away before the café was established but her belief in their vision helped them set up the café with funds she left behind.
Crafting at Creating Villages is not only fun but also supports a good cause as all profits go towards supporting the local community. Overall, Creating Villages Inc, Craft and Caffeine is a wonderful place to visit for anyone looking for a warm atmosphere where they can enjoy some crafting activities while sipping on great coffee.
