The Black Owl was a trendy cafeteria and coffee shop located on Mcdougall Street in Brunswick. It opened its doors in November 2019 and offered customers a variety of homemade Turkish and Cyprus dishes, along with great coffee and drinks. The café had an excellent first week special, offering Burger&Chips + Beer for $20 or 2x Beers + Chips for $15. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service to the customers. Unfortunately, it has been permanently closed for business as of February 2021.

For public transport, take the train to Brunswick station and walk south down Sydney Road until you reach McDougall Street. The cafe and coffee shop will be on your left-hand side.
For driving/parking, head towards Brunswick and turn off onto Victoria Street. Follow this street until you reach McDougall Street and turn left. There is a public car park nearby or street parking available around the area.
